Yesenia Mejia, B.A. received her degree in psychology from UC San Diego and was a Project Assistant. She carried out interviews of caregivers and ill relatives. She also contributed to the production of the La CLAve film.
Her contribution included co-authorship in publications in Journal of Health Communication, Journal of Immigrant and Minority Health, and Psychiatric Services. She is now an advanced doctoral student in clinical psychology at the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
